Aniket Nikam, also known as Aniket Ujjwal Nikam, is an Indian criminal advocate who practices in the Bombay High Court and the Supreme Court of India.

Career
Criminal Advocate
Aniket is an independent Criminal Lawyer and Defense Attorney at the Bombay High Court and Supreme Court of India. In 2014, he appeared in the Bombay High Court to file a bail plea for Jignesh Shah, MCX (Multi Commodity Exchange) promoter, in the Rs 5000 cr National Stock Exchange Ltd scam. He also appeared in high-profile cases including the Adarsh housing scam and the Jalgaon housing scam.
In 2016, he appeared as legal counsel for the Directors of the Maple Group, Naveen Aggarwal and Sachin Aggarwal. They were under suspicion for allegedly defrauding people through advertisements that offered 1BHK flats for just Rs 5 lacs. He succeeded in securing bail for the duo. In 2017, he helped Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra secure an anticipatory bail (it is a direction to release a person on bail, issued even before the person is arrested) in a due payment case.

He has dealt with numerous other high-profile matters related to financial scams and other criminal cases including the murder case of Nagina Hasan’s daughter (2014), Fakt Marathi in the TRP case, and Anil Deshmukh‘s money laundering case (2022).
