Exoprimal, a multiplayer third-person shooter, emerged onto the gaming scene in 2023, courtesy of Capcom. Tasked with piloting an “exofighter,” a soldier sporting an exosuit, players find themselves engrossed in a high-stakes battle. Their mission? Tackle objectives amidst relentless dinosaur hordes, all while aiming to topple the ominous artificial intelligence entity known as Leviathan.

The game divides participants into two five-member teams, pitting them against each other in a race against time. Success hinges on outsmarting opponents, as waves of dinosaurs must be vanquished, and goals must be met. Rolling out on July 14, 2023, Exoprimal landed on multiple platforms: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

  • Slot number for a currently equipped module displayed on the module list.

Exosuit Adjustments:


  • Fixed a bug where using Deadeye’s standard attack right after using the Thrust Attack ability would occasionally result in projectiles firing at a location other than where players were aiming.
  • Fixed a bug in values for the increased cooldown time for the D – Reload Dodge module.(Occurred in Arabic only)


  • Fixed a bug where Skipbomber projectiles would occasionally pass through Krieger’s Dome Shield under certain conditions.
  • Fixed a bug where players would eliminate themselves with damage from Triple Threat.
  • Fixed a bug where Stun Grenade would occasionally deal two hits to large dinosaurs.
  • Fixed a bug where enemies using Roadblock’s Ballistic Wall or the Shield rig would not be stunned if they were hit by the Stun Grenade from behind.
  • Fixed a bug where players would occasionally receive the Flapjack medal twice when burning and flipping over an Ankylosaurus.


  • Fixed a bug where enemies using Roadblock’s Ballistic Wall or the Shield rig would not be frozen if they were hit by Frost Lock from behind.


  • Fixed a bug where, under certain conditions, Roadblock’s Storm Drive would not kill Pteranodons despite dealing damage to them.

  • Fixed a bug where using the Catapult rig during Air Supremacy prevented Skywave from returning to Air Supremacy.

  • Fixed a bug where Barrage’s B – Boost Grenade module did not properly increase Skipbomber damage dealt to some enemies.

  • Fixed a bug where damage values would not display when attacking enemy Crafts with a Dominator.

Enemy Adjustments:

  • Fixed a bug where damage value displays for some weapons overlapped with one another.
  • Fixed a bug where an ally’s username would briefly appear when relenquishing control of a Dominator even though the Display Ally Name option was set to Hide.

Game Mode Adjustments:

  • Fixed a bug that affected the way the Omega Hammer carrier icon was displayed to players controlling a Dominator in Omega Charge.
  • Fixed a bug where unexpected chat log behavior would occur when players placed a marker on a hostile exofighter that had just been marked by another player.
  • Fixed a bug where behavior for placing markers differed between the Firing Range and actual matches.

UI Adjustments:

  • Fixed a bug where damage value displays for some weapons overlapped with one another.
  • Fixed a bug where an ally’s username would briefly appear when relenquishing control of a Dominator even though the Display Ally Name option was set to Hide.

Exoprimal Game Plot

Humanity counters this menace with the deployment of “exofighters,” specially outfitted soldiers equipped with advanced exosuits created by the Aibius Corporation. Simultaneously, Aibius develops “Leviathan,” a sophisticated artificial intelligence geared towards enhancing exofighter operations and predicting the locations of impending vortexes. This struggle unfolds amidst competition from mercenaries and private military entities seeking to exploit the valuable data.

In the year 2043, Patrol Squad #52585, also known as “Hammerheads,” embarks on a mission that thrusts them into a vortex, transporting them to the enigmatic Bikitoa Island in an alternate timeline. The squad’s rookie exofighter, Ace, forms a pivotal connection with the seasoned exofighter Magnum, who becomes an ally. However, Leviathan, once an ally, veers into a rebellious path by orchestrating “wargames.”

These games involve combat tests that send participants back in time to 2040, requiring them to repel dinosaur and neosaur incursions through vortexes initiated by the rogue Leviathan. Amidst this turmoil, Ace, backed by Magnum and the Hammerheads, embarks on a dual quest: partaking in the wargames and unveiling Leviathan’s enigmatic agenda.
