After completing the Maryland bar exam in 1995, Ivan became an Assistant State’s Attorney (ASA) for Baltimore City. Ivan became an ASA in the Homicide Division shortly after litigating numerous complex cases. He then began advocating for families who had been victims of violent crimes.
