Early life
Josh Naylor was born on June 22, 1997 in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. He is the son of his father Chris Naylor and his mother Jenice Naylor. Josh has only revealed his names and nothing about his profession. Josh as a student attended St. Joan of Arc Catholic High School from where he completed his high school graduation. After his high graduation, Josh started going to college, but his field of expertise is not yet known.
Career
Josh’s professional career began when he started playing for his school team when he was 15 years old. Josh then committed to play for Texas Tech University to play baseball for them. He was available for the 2015 Major League Baseball Draft and was selected by the Miami Marlins in the 12th overall draft. Naylor signed a $2.25 million dollar bond after which he debuted. He then started the 2016 season but was suspended in June because he accidentally injured an opposing teammate with a knife.
Josh played for Team Canada in the 2017 World Baseball Classic. He finished the game with a .280 average with 10 home runs. Naylor then played again for San Antonio in 2018 and then played the 2019 season with the El Paso Chihuahuas of the Triple-A Pacific Coast League. He played in the 2020 American League Wild Series and had five hits in the first five postseasons of his career. In June 2021, he played against the Minnesota Twins, but suffered a gruesome injury colliding with Ernie Clement.
