Meet Stu Smith, Ree Drummond’s nephew
Many of those who follow ‘The Pioneer Woman’ host Ree Drummond might have seen her nephew Stu Smith off camera. Ree can’t stop bragging about her sweet nephew who is ready to help the Drummond family. Although she lives in Texas, Stu also visits Ree’s ranch in Oklahoma.
Stu is very close with his cousins Paige, Alex, Bryce, and Todd.
Ree has bragged about her nephew multiple times on her social media. Posting about Stu on her Instagram in October 2020, she wrote: “In case you didn’t know, my nephew Stu is the cutest boy ever and I love him so much. Also, please ignore the first part of this video where I awkwardly eat hot soup on camera.” she wrote the caption. “I would have cut it out of this video… but thinking about it got me tired and I guess I’m not afraid of being awkward anymore. In an IG post from August 2017, Ree explained that she has a nickname for her Stu which is ‘Tooie’. He sometimes went further and called him Tooie Booie. However, as he was over 18, Ree told him that he would take the nickname ‘Tooie Booie’ off of him, which only lasted for nine minutes.
While in December of the same year, Ree wrote that Stu’s sleep schedule changed because he came to help his Uncle Ladd on the ranch. She explained that Ladd gave her a day off. But she chose to help her uncle and went to work.
